A girlfag (or "female gay man" or "gay-male identified woman") is a person born in a woman's body who feels a strong attraction towards gay or bisexual men. She may partly or wholly feel like a "gay man trapped in a woman's body".[1] Girlfags may be attracted to other types of people as well. Their self-identification as gay, straight or bisexual may vary, although most of them consider themselves to be bisexual.[2]
The male equivalent, a lesbian identified man, is known as a guydyke.Vorlage:Fact This concept became more known when during Season 1 of the American and Canadian co-production television drama series The L-Word a lesbian-identified man called "Lisa" had a short relationship with a lesbian woman.[3]Vorlage:Dubious
