A girlfag is person born in a woman's body who feels a strong attraction towards gay or bisexual men. She may partly or wholly feel like a "gay man trapped in a woman's body".[1] Girlfags may be attracted to other types of people as well. Their self-identification as gay, straight or bisexual may vary, although most of them consider themselves to be bisexual.[2]
The term fag hag describes a totally different phenomenon, where straight women seek out "safe", non-sexual relationships with gay men. A girlfag on the other hand is specifically interested in pursuing romantic/sexual relationships with gay or bisexual men.
